For 70 years, the 3 Valleys ski domain has wlecomed skiers with its 600km of slopes and 200 ski lifts. The Meribel ski resort has over 400 ski instructors to insure you have a fantastic time and improve your skiing! The Meribel valley is the only place in the world to have 15 cable cars. If that's not enough you will find: 19 chair lifts, 8 mini-lifts, and one rolling mat. To ensure good snow conditions, Méribel has 685 snow cannons, so you will never be short of snow! Every night, the snow is groomed to provide skiers with the best quality slopes. With such an infrstructure, Meribel hosted the 1992 Winter Olympics, with the 6 female alpine events and Ice Hockey games. Other than the marked slopes, there is a designated area for new winter sports called the Moonpark, that caters for freestyle or slopestyle activities. This ski area is open to both beginners and experts. Thanks to its initiation area, you can learn new techniques in a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
